Anyways, my crazy sisters, or sister rather (it was all Eve's idea ;) ), made me sing up for a half marathon (some may call it wussy, even me, but it's a start for p-cute) in Seattle set for the end of June. She just made me do it I tell you. Now I have this training schedule that stares me in the face everytime I open the fridge. I see it often. Like everytime I sneak a spoonfull of hot fudge sauce... mmmmm. To my suprise, I am actually doing alright. Better then I thought I would. Yippee. Today I got home from work early so I did the 7 mile run. I'm not gonna lie, I mapped out a nice flat, easy run as to keep my spirits and energy up. I'm good to myself like that. I shall now pat myself on the back, pat, pat. Doing the long run today was very important cause this weekend I am heading even farther up North then I already am... all the way to Slave Lake friends! I shall frolic and splash in the frigid water with old friends and family. And I know myself folks, there is no way my wide-load is running 7miles in freaking cold Slave Lake. Nope. I am going to keep it warm with sweaters and blankets and food. And I really don't need to be that active up there anyways, because, like many of you know, one always feel just a little bit skinnier in Slave Lake then in most other towns/cities (take for instance, Provo, UT; I always feel like a fat ho there).
So, the goal, to my suprise, is actually going pretty well. Go self. Here is a goal I have completed in an alright kind of way: Learning How to Round Brush My Hairs.

Look at that coif! Rounded ends, kind of framing my face? Now, I'll tell you what. This "goal" didn't take too long. Mr. Wonderful Husband got me a nice fat round brush for Christmas, then Eve told me to use it only at the end of blowdrying and to use the cold blast button near the end of the process. I am just alright though, as sometimes I look a little more lioness then I would like too.
So maybe I can set goals and get them done in alright kinds of ways. I won't get too carried away though. That would = Trouble.
2 woot-woots!:
Cute pictures, Patience! Your hair looks great!!
I am right there with you with the goals, but I try to not think about it. The less I think about it, the better I feel! :)
Have fun this weekend, I'm sure you will.
