Back From The Break

Well well well. Guess who goes on vacation for 9 days and doesn't take one single dingle photograph? 3 guesses- it was me! Ha! Actually, I am kind of sad as there were many many things to take photographs of. Sigh... there were just so many cameras everywhere going snap snap snap and I didn't really feel like adding to the mix. Do you ever feel that way? I did.

So, trip highlights:

-Dixie Mae and visiting with Sean and Eve! Cutest little dahlin' out there if I do say so myself. It was so nice to meet her, kiss her sweet cheeks (the ones on the face), and enjoy her cuddles. We made a funny joke about her blessing. She was, you know, sleeping or something, and we were all "you know, she's just contemplating getting a name and a blessing in the Church- it's a pretty big deal..." ha ha. It was witty if I do say so myself.

-Jump On It. A warehouse filled with wall to wall trampolines. It was really bouncy. And boy I was sore the next day.

-Sisters. We had 4 all together at the same time and in the same place. This does not happen too often. It was a blast. xoxo sisters.

-The Corn Children. Shucks, those kids! I felt like a bad aunt for not cuddling Mr. Oak as much as I should have, but he stinks. I can say that because his mother has already blogged about it and I am not being mean. I made up for less cuddles than normal by playing Battle Ship and ball with him as much as possible. Kids got aim. I hope that was good enough.. I did play with him lots in the swimming pool as the chlorine masked the odor. I still love him lots and lots. It was fun telling Eden bedtime stories that went a little something like "Once upon a time, fart, the end" and hearing her howl with laughter. I love that 7 year old laughter, it brightens my day. And Ivy. Oh the two two! She is the essence of sweet, adorable, cute, and sassy. And, Georgia let me play with her lots and lots! She wasn't sick this visit, and boy is she sweet. I would like to publicly thank Mr/Mrs. Inventor of Ear Tubes.

-Spending time with my lover. That's Dan. We don't always go on holiday together, but this time we were able to. It was so nice to be with him for 9 days straight. Just talking and teasing and laughing and picking that one great zit he had.

Well, there is probably more but I want to catch The Bachelor so must cut this short. I like those reality shows but usually just when there are a few contestants left and things get juicy. Today is my first episode and I can't wait! But gosh, I just don't know if I will be able to catch on to who's who and what's what. Not! (I have not used that since 1993) One man with 4 hot chicks and he is sleeping with all of them and they all know it. Barf. But the drama! Gets me every time.

Um, going back to work after 9 days off is so draining! I forgot what I did everyday and how annoying working can be. This is lasting far too long. Gotta go friends.
