Okay, Okay, Okay!

I will post. Please, stop pulling my leg!

So I am now with dear dear dear Dan. My red eye flight was actually better than I thought it would be- due to my uncanny ability to fall asleep no matter what the circumstance. Please, may this Gift Of The Spirit always stay with me.

Dan and I have been staying with some v. v. extended family by marriage (thanks Jana, they are wonderful!) while we are apartment hunting. We look at 4 apartments tomorrow alone! I sure hope we like at least one of them. There is one with parkay flooring (which I LIVE AND DIE FOR) and is a half mile from Trader Joe's. That is the one I want. Parkay flooring is coming back in a big way. Just you wait, and you read it here first- please note.

Other things to note include, but are not limited to, the fact that we are a one car family and are staying too far from the metro so when I wanted to take a break from apartment hunting while Dan was at school, I saw a double feature at the AMC. Meaning, I just walked my cute little butt into another theater to see another movie with the same ticket. I can try to hide my sins, but you know, what's the point? This is also one way in which you can stick it to the man. Dan says I have to stop this though. Humph!

And today, to distract myself from Craigslist (which drives me NUTS) I went into DC to be Dan's +1 at his internship Christmas party. The only problem though was that I had to go in at the same time as him in the morning, which left me with t-i-m-e on my hands. And friends, let me tell you, the Holocaust museum is terribly sad. Terribly! At the end of my visit I sat in the hall of remembrance, lit a candle, and just cried. Srsly sad. I also took in the American Indian Museum which can be both a sad and positive thing. What a day of grief. Good thing I got to attend the largest Pot Luck known to mankind to drown my sorrows.

Alright, that's it.

xoxo and miss you!

Am I right that you are now in DC? We lived there 3.5 years before coming here so let me know if you have any questions about neighborhoods, ect. We will also be coming by this summer for training so we should meet up!
