Did you know that Abraham Lincoln had much to do with Gallaudet University and that is why he is signing the letters "A" and "L" whilst sitting on his marble throne? Well he did! This is just one of the things you can learn from the Segway people! And unrelated, I sure think Mr. Lincoln needs an eleven zee's or something, he looks like he is wasting away.
Anyways, I would like to report my evening. We picked more strawberries. Because Dan doesn't like doing wholesome recreational activities with me like picking strawberries though, he held my bucket while I picked the strawberries. And then I would say "lower, lower, too low.... lower" so I could put berries in the bucket he was holding. I think strawberry ice cream will be next. And did you know that the pectin that does not require 7 cups of sugar per jam batch just doesn't taste as good? It's true, but it still does the trick.
We finally had the gringo guts to walk into our local Pupuseria this evening. For a whopping $11 we had a wonderful meal of pupusa's and horchata (for dan). Yum yum in my tum tum. I always feel like such an idiot going into those hole-in-the-wall-so-authentic-we-don't-speak-english places, but am always so happy when I do. Because mmmm mmm that was good pupusa. I just wish I could speak every language there ever was and knew how to eat all the food there ever was (not all at once), you know what I mean? I don't want to be the sun burnt a-hole who doesn't know how eat a pupusa properly! How embarrassing!
