Not Stuck Under A Piano

No friends, the earthquake did not pin me under a piano as my eldest sister worried. I am actually still here, alive, kicking and cute. But the magic is gone! I just don't feel the blog sparkle when I get on this thing anymore. However, do to the recent earthquake scare I thought it only proper that I get back on the saddle to let you all know that, yes, I am okay! I know that is exactly what everyone everywhere is thinking ;).

I will simply get on with it then. The pictures of proof of my life, because omg how else would we know? I present them to you in no particular chronological order.

#1 is when we went to the baseball game this past Friday night, and rain rain rain! It was rather fun to watch them put that big tarp on the infield (they are so efficient!) but it was sad that we couldn't stay for the 2 hour delayed game especially because Dan's parents were visiting all the way from Canadaland and they heart baseball :(.

#2 is from the first night with Dan's parents. Bless their hearts- they had just come off a l-o-n-g flight but were still up for a mini tour of DC which included but was not limited to the Temple and 2 Amy's Pizza (we all loved it) and I marveled that Calgary has a pizza place of the same caliber but with an even better dessert menu. I love my Calgary and I miss it so.

#3 is perhaps my all time favorite photo of Dan. That man will do anything to make me laugh ;). We were at the Marine Corps museum with the in-laws because Dan's grandpa was a marine who actually fought in the battle at Tarawa and they had these little soldier things set up for little kids. I spyed them with my little eyes and I said "hey Dan, this will be so fun!". So for a good 10 minutes Jo-Anne and I lined him up behind the 4 different soldiers and hand him crouch down just so, so his shoulders wouldn't show and we snapped away. This is my favorite one and looking at it just makes my day :).

#4 is from our overnight camping trip to Shenandoah National Park. Seriously so beautiful! It is nearly as breathtaking as the Canadian Rockies, and that my friends is saying something ;)!
