No Tears Yet And It's Thursday!

I may have the cutest son ever. He melts our hearts with his smiles. Please see below.

I bet your heart just melted too, and if it didn't you clearly are a monster. This Jude of ours!

Dan may have to do some travel for work in the next week or two and I am contemplating going with him. Mostly though, so that I can call Jude the "traveling Jude" or "wandering Jude". Sisters, you like that? Doesn't it remind you of when mom used to call us that racial slur but she didn't really mean it that way? Our mom has some pretty funny sayings that make me laugh so hard now. One of my favorites was when she would get all exasperated and say "I'm just trying to be a good Christian woman!". Man, can that ever get me going. Also, my mistyped text messages. The other night I was putting Jude to bed and I text Dan to come 'sh*t' the door instead of come 'shut' the door. We were laughing so hard it almost woke up our poor wandering Jude.

I don't have much else to say... well, except that I am having a love affair with this ice cream sandwich  Chick-Fil-A. Seriously. That is a quality chicken sandwich if I do say so myself. I will not however, share how often I eat them because that would not be lady like. Hey, I'm a nursing mother who can't eat dairy so step off. And also, these days doesn't it seem like people are super lazy about writing on Facebook walls? I am realizing that it is all about the status update which makes it like a weird Twitter and I've stayed away from Twitter because it intimidates me but now I have a weird Twitter Facebook. Ahhh. What is this world coming to?

And has anyone with cable out there been watching the new 'Keeping Up With The Kardashians'? Is it as scripted as the New York season was? Man, I miss me some vintage Keeping Up- when it was less scripted and way better. Dan keeps telling me I want to get cable (I don't) but really, he wants me to want it because he wants it. I grew up with peasant vision honey (=2 channels via bunny ears) and am fine to continue as such.

peasant vision stolen between the hours of 3:40-5:15pm while sneaking ice cream and hiding bowls beneath the couch and hastily shutting off the tv when dad pulled into the drive way.... or everyone just running out of the room, leaving the tv to entertain the voided family room.
