This was only a kind of worst part that I'll leave in. Sometimes I think I am such a hard ass only to end up crying on the phone to a property manager about how my 3 month old baby needs air conditioning, like yesterday! I thought I would be all tough and demanding, but the truth- tears! It just happened. Right when I was gonna start demanding out came salty streaks of frustration. And maybe it was the way to go, because everyone felt really bad for me and the AC people squeezed us in for a last minute unit replacement. I mean, I did tell them the solution was not good enough and I got my point across- just in between gasps instead of rants. Anyways. First world problems for sure.
Due to the vagabondness of our lives for the last week and between all the 'do this, do that!' I don't think I took even one picture. What good is an iPhone if I don't Instagram regularly? I mean, come on. So please feel free to imagine a very hot and sweaty Patience, Dan, and Jude running about. We looked a lot like I did when I was on my mission in Thailand. Ha! Ugliest time of my life for sure. Just ask my sisters, they love to laugh at all my pictures. And so do I, really.
One thing that keeps making me laugh is something Dan kept saying as he was moving all our stuff. He would come up to me all surprised like and tell me again "there are just so many picture frames!". Okay. I kind of have a bad habit. I buy up picture frames from The Goodwill like nobodies business. See, I have a grand dream of having an amazing picture wall, and a picture wall as grand as mine will need frames! Lots and lots of frames!! I stashed them in every nook and cranny that our 400 square feet allowed and Dan discovered them all. There really was no rhyme or reason as to where I put them, just wherever I could find a few extra inches of space. For some reason I find the whole situation so funny..."picture frames everywhere!". And he was always so surprised when he found another one. I thought he knew this about me, but I guess not.
AC'd apartment, check.
Pictures, no check.
