Here's to my eyes!

I learnt how to test depth preception at work today. It is a very easy test that one can do to oneself. Being the eager, new employee that I am (and just the cute person too), I decided to test my depth perception. It is about the only test you can do without needing any help from anyone else.

I learnt that my depth perception is very bad at work today. It was a far too easy test to do to myself. I only wanted to show how eager and intersted I am in the work we do. My cute, eager personality led me to find out just how much my depth perception sucks. Yes. It's true. I have bad depth perception. Devestation set in immediatley.

When I got home I got on the internet and learned all about depth perception and just how important it is. So my whole life has been full of not so "3D" images of the world. I feel like my vision has been one complete lie! The pain! I always thought I was such a healthy person. Not anymore! Hello, I have issues with 3D!!! No one seems to understand. Next time I fall down or the food doesn't quite make it to my mouth, you'll know why.

3 woot-woots!:

I think I have a depth perception problem too. I have NEVER been able to see those 3D images hidden in colorful design posters... also I have a hard time driving at night, the absense of light really screw up the depth perception.

Yet, I have seemed to live a full life so far, and I am happy.

It IS possible!

PS - I totally jammed a piece of paper, the sharp part, into my R eye today and now, 3 hrs later, I am still seeing blurry.

Now that you are all eye-doctored up perhaps you could give me some advice!

Yo B-
If you are still blury, you really should see a doctor. If it is your cornea that got scratched you really should get it checked. Sometimes it'll just heal on it's own with no complications, but sometimes it doesn't. I am slowly learning just how important the eyes are. It is fascinating!
