- I gave a good friend of mine from the mission a ride to Edmonton this past weekend. She was going to visit this boy she is currently involved with. It never fails to touch my heart when you see that look between 2 people who really care for each other, especially when one of those persons is a near and dear friend of yours from the rice patties of Thaialnd. I love seeing intimate moments in the lives of others...perhaps because my life is void of them ... lol... sigh....
- I spent the whole weekend with 2 sisters, a brother-in-law, parents, and 2 nieces. It is so nice to feel needed by the ones you love. Little Abby is a prima ballerina. She was the best little teacup on stage. Mina is absolutley beautiful. I'm going back for more on the 30th.
- I got to have the traditional cuddle and heart-to-heart with my little Schmoo until 4am Saturday. It never fails, me and Nunu can talk for hours and hours and still find new conversation topics.
- I was reminded how the choices of others can affect the lives of those that care about them. I met up with perhaps one of the only people I can honestly see myself with who is just a little too far from what I need right now. These greetings with said person always break my heart a little so we keep them few and far between. Maybe someday....
- I came home only to find out that my fatal attraction told another boy at the Saturday night dance: "Patience is all yours..." LAME then I saw him holding hands with his new "relationship" according to facebook. I think it's better this way as the decision was made for me. I live my life as openminded as I can which sometimes hinders me when it comes to making important decisions. Yes, there is some good in everyone but that still does not make that person right for me. I mourned for 20 minutes and now feel just fine.
