I much enjoyed this day. For I have a new position at my place of employment which gives me some personal freedom. With this new freedom (read overtime hours)I was able to take the afternoon off! Woot woot my friends. I was out of there like butter at 12:30pm. I relished the no traffic drive home speeding down Crowfoot as fast as I jolly well pleased, not even being bothered by all the sh*$ that was being splashed on my windshield due to slushy roads, because you know what, afternoon off!! No traffic!! Oh such is the life. I made it home in a record time of 15 minutes and for a second I thought it was summertime- well not really, but it was summertime commute time. It was splendid. I walked in the door and what did I do? Why wrap presents of course. It is nearly the Christmas time after all. Then I headed out the door to find treasures for Dan's stocking. He already filled mine and hung it with care, can you believe that? I cannot. Now I know the shape and dimensions of that sock and my mind is spinning trying to guess what it is all the while making myself keep my grubby paws off it.
Anyways.
Dan is trying to give me eggnog kisses and it is making me want to barf. That stuff is yelch. He mixed it with my Diet Pepsi. Diet Egg. He said it wasn't good so if you ever for some crazy reason get that idea in your head just don't do it. He much prefers Egg Beer. Double barf-yelch.
Here are things my mother used to say to express her frustrations while we were kids, please excuse the racial slurs, she really isn't like that and I like to think she really didn't know what they meant anyways she was just at wits end and had no choice but to use them instead of cuss words:
"Cotton pick!"
"Ey yi yi yii!"
"You kids, always taking my good material scissors!"
"What in sam hill?!"
"Lord love a duck!"
"Stop wandering around like lost Jew!"
"I'm trying to be a good Christian Woman!"
Those are all I can think of for now... sisters, please add any you can think of in the comment section as I would like to laugh.
Tonight Little Bunny Fu Fu is coming to town! Hello dreads and good food! I cannot wait. That little rabbit has been too far away for too long.

I miss you!!
My mom used to say "You kids, always taking my good material scissors!" ALL THE TIME. haha
