Long Over Due

The cutest little birthday cake I made for Dana. Bananna cake, cream cheese icing, and chocolate ganache piping. Caaa-ute!
Valentines Day dinner Dan and I made. Indian food! I need to take a class about this food for sure. It is not as easy as you may think it is.

Valentines Day anti-valentines. I can't help making these even though I am v. happily married. I made them with Nunu and her friend Rudi. In my defence, I did make one that said "I love Dan". And, I only took the PG ones to work. Those girls, I tell you!

Kijiji, kijiji! It has blessed me with this awesome table for an awesome price. Dan and I really like it. I can't wait to get some new material on the chairs, clean it up, and maybe add some paint. Now the question is, do I move it to DC, sell, or store? Sigh. Headaches.

And it came with this cute lil' half chair to use when we put the leaf in. It is in the living room right now and I just love it. Too too cute.

3 woot-woots!:

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the table. I say definetly take it. You will be there for at least 2 years, for heaven's sake, and will need something to eat on. Take it! It's sooo rad!

You girls and your paint. So sad for the wood. You'll paint them, and one day someone will strip them down and say, "Look at this beautiful wood! Why did someone paint over it?" Poor, poor wood always ahead of (and behind) its time.

I'm admittedly biased toward unpainted wood...

PS - Tell Dan we got Lego Star Wars. Tons of fun.

Love the cake, Patience! Looks so good!
And take the table, you'll regret leaving it! We left way too much stuff when we went to Scotland (and that was only supposed to be 2 years too).
We want to have you guys over for dinner soon. We need to plan a day. We'll call you guys.
