The One Thing About Moving

The one thing about moving is that, holy cow, I now have enough tampons for the rest of my life. Whilst going through every back pack, casual bag, fancy bag, and jacket that I have ever owned, I found out that I have enough tampons to last me at least a few years. The oldest I found probably dates back from mid 2002. Every little pocket was full of a few tampons, a panty liner or two, and a blister pack of Advil. I am set ya'll! Anyone in need of feminine products should talk to me- feel free to pass the message on.

And then the second thing about moving is that not only am I sad to leave the land of my birth, my family, my friends, Canadian chocolate, and easy access to A&W's, but I am also sad to leave all my stuff. So what if we are selling it- my heart still breaks a little whenever someone comes to pick up one of my treasures. I can't help it. Last night I found the best way to remedy this ailment though. And how did I do that you ask? Craigslist. Specifically the one in the D.C. metro area. I now know the truth, that yes, beautiful, gently used furniture and beds do exist in other places, and that yes, my heart will and can be consoled. Praise be.

I have feminine hygiene products in all of my bags too! I'm so glad to know I am not alone.

Good luck with the move!

Oh my goodness this same exact thing happened to me when we just moved. I was like seriously how many freaking tampons do I own??? The funniest thing is I'm not even using them right now so I too have a huge pile ready to go as soon as baby comes. I guess it's a girl thing. We're always stalking up ;) Good luck with everything!!!
