To Halifax And Beyond!

What a week it has been. The whole blog world can rest assured that my itty bitty baby sister is doing better. After a whole lot of serious stuff she is going home to heal. It seems like I just packed up my life yesterday and here I am helping pack up hers. All of these goodbyes are weighing on my little bitty heart. I think watching a sister-lover in so much pain must be akin to watching ones own child. Honestly, you can not tell me any different because I won't believe you for even one second and when I have a child I will come back to tell you that it is just the same. A quick side note is: while I perhaps fell off the Love Pudge challenge, at least I did it with Celeste, who fell into J-ello! Yes internet, my hippie sister luurves herself some jello (red flavors only, and preferably from the hospital). In order to preserve Bunny's dignity, I shall not divulge further information as to what other food/food like substance I have seen her eat, but know that it is all thanks to her iron clad guts of steroids, and it as been fun!

I always wanted to see Halifax, and here I am! Of course, seeing it for a different reason would have been optimal, but it is still cute nonetheless and even in the dark. I would describe to you Halifax as being quaint, charming, colourful, salty, and crisp. Go google image it and you will fall in love. Also, I would describe it as bursting at the seams. I don't think those fishermen ever thought Halifax would be as full with people as the sea is with fish, but it is, and how I wish those fishermen could have foreseen that everyone wants to be here and therefore built bigger roads and intersections from the get go. But that's just me.

I saw Country Strong this evening and it was way better than I thought it would be. I am honestly so surprised that I liked it that much (and if you don't like it, you are weird (Dan)). Of course, Gweneth did great as always, but I was much more blow away by Leighton Meester. I was not expecting much from her, I mean, I kinda thought the only thing she could do was Blair Waldorff, but no! She can do much, much more. I think I can call myself a Leighton Meester fan instead of a Blair Waldorff one- and that is saying a lot.

Anyways, I have some more paintings to pack up. And Nunu, this post has not been edited, so please hold your spelling comments. Humph!
