Thursday in Thai= Wan-Pharahat

Oh, don't mind me. My baby is just napping like any old regular baby would be doing and I am enjoying the break. I CANNOT BELIEVE THIS.

So, while Jude is off in Dream Land, I thought I would post some cute pictures of him because I miss him so much. Kid got all independent all of a sudden and I feel like he is practically in College already. Just where does the time go anyways? I seem to always ask that question, but girl knows right where the time went!

Is he not the cutest thing ever? Earlier today we "went for a walk and had a little talk"- is how my mother would put it. She used to say that in sing song while walking with us and swinging our arms as we held hands. I kind of have a hard time remembering much about childhood, but the things I do remember usually involve the cute and silly things my mother would do to make us giggle. For instance, when anyone of us would match a sibling or her in our clothing choices she would always sing "Match-match, we match, nothing else can match" while we grinned really big and felt special, or she would always open our bananas with her teeth while growling and pretending she was a monkey. My mom is really good with little kids and I hope to continue her sweet traditions that always made me giggle. And then when we were older and she would take us to the Dollar Movies, we all knew that even though she said "I am not buying treats for anyone!" until she was blue in the face, she would always send you to the candy counter during the opening credits if you chose to see the same movie she did. My mom is really sweet.

And that's baby Jude taking a breather after some tummy time play. I really love this picture and I think I even captured it on my big camera for posterity's sake.

Jude really is the sweetest little boy. Some things he loves to do include:

rolling over
smiling
giggling
gnawing
sneezing
nursing
sleeping (!)
melting his parents hearts

At 5 months that pretty much sums up his life :). We really are quite taken by him.

Hmmm, not much else to say this week. Well, there is this Chinese restaurant a few blocks from our place. Jude and I pass it on our walks. I want to go there so bad. The menu on the door is in Chinese and the place is always filled with Asian people, therefore, I cannot help but assume they have legit Chinese food. I am so wishing I knew more about Chinese cuisine because most of the translated food descriptions read something like "People's Food Dish". Hmmm. I just know it's gotta be a good restaurant. I'm dying here!!
