There are so many things to be sad about right now and my heart feels pretty weak so I thought I would post some happy things. These things include: Jude Drinks Water!, Shopping With a Who From Whoville, and Settlers of America {Ra Ra won}.
When Jude drinks water he gets very excited about it and sometimes spits it out because he is soo excited he just can't handle it. A little messy, yes, but completely hilarious.
That little sweater thing which turns Jude into a Who is about the most adorable thing I have ever seen. A sweet lady at church knits them and let me pick one from her collection. It is her own pattern and I feel so lucky to have one. If we have another kid and that kid is a girl she will wear it too.
Settlers of America- Dan and I love this game. We were finally able to have some friends over to play over the weekend... something we have not done in 9 months (mostly because of Jude). It was a really great time.
Of course I have to give you a moose update. My friend reported that the young moose caused 14 THOUSAND dollars in damage to her vehicle. Good grief. The perils of living in moose country.
I have to mention a little something else, mostly for the sake of personal record. Mensies. After a year and a half it came back. It was such a strange moment. I almost felt like shouting out "I'm a woman again!" or asking my mom to buy me some tampons. It is so amazing that my body (- some lingering poundage and some droopy breasts) is pretty much back to normal and could grow another human being if I so choose.
Life is amazing and I am grateful to the people that make up mine.
