Instead I shall entertain you. Dan and I just finished addressing our Christmas cards while watching a holiday favorite, The Godfather. It has that one Christmas scene, remember? My hand is cramped from using a pen for the last hour so I thought I'd come stretch it out on the keyboard.
Let us take a minute and talk about how awesome Fall TV is this year. Honestly. 2012 is one of the best TV years for me in a long time. Maybe this is because I have time to watch more shows as my baby naps, I'm not entirely sure here. It seems like something is in the TV land water and all my shows are drinking it! No complaints from me. And like I said, because I have one kid, everyday seems like Saturday so don't mind if I do, Hulu+! If only I could make some bling with this SAHM gig. Now, without further ado, I present...
Shows You Should Watch ASAP
NASHVILLE! Holy cow. I want a new episode all day everyday. I was so sad when FNL ended but am so happy I can enjoy Tammy as Rayna. Yes! And it is everything good about Glee but not annoying.
THE OFFICE! Finally a good season after Michael Scott left. Dan and I still mourn the loss of Michael a lot but are happy there is actually something to laugh about again. Don't you think we deserve a Michael and Holly wedding episode? We have thought of many ways the episode could go - all hilarious. Come on you NBC, just do it.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES! This one is actually a little embarrassing to admit to, but I can't seem to help myself. When Jude would only sleep with his Mama, I watched a full two seasons on my iPhone with headphones while snuggling my little monster. I missed all of season 3 due to it not being on Netflix, but am having no problem getting into season 4. These overly dramatic shows ain't too difficult. (maybe you don't need to watch this one ASAP... perhaps one day when you are sick or bored, really no rush)
NEW GIRL! I liked it from the very first episode and Dan joined me about halfway through the first season. It's a little sex obsessed (sex is great, I know, I just wish they could build their show around something that took a little more creativity) but also hilarious. And yes, I would totally dig through a garbage can looking for the brownie at the bottom and eat it, especially if I could share it with Schmidt.
So those are my shows these days. I have a couple others I enjoy but I am actually for reals embarrassed about them and am not ready to come clean. Are any of you enjoying this wonderful TV season? And I am also well aware that it sounds as if I have no life and yet, for now, I'm okay with that.

5 woot-woots!:
I know it's probably not your thang, but The Walking Dead is phenomenal!!!
I watched The Walking Dead for most of the 1st season but just couldn't do all the gore. Dan really likes it though and I do enjoy him updating me on the story line. If only there were not so many Zombies involved!
I wanna know the shows that you are embarrassed about. For me that category would probably the real housewifes of... (i watch them ALL except Atlanta).
I am also loving Nashville!
I just tried the 1st episode of Nashville, and it has not sold me. I keep on getting the men mixed up. Her husband, the guy in the band, her cousin, or who ever. They all look the same, and I can not tell which 2 of them that the young singer is sleeping with. I am quite enjoying Downton Abbey, Dexter, Modern Family and Nurse Jackie. I must try the Walking Dead!
Serinda
sorry you didn't like it serinda. yes, there are a lot of people to follow but it all irons out in a few episodes.
