This is the picture I tried to post with my entry about my Utah weekend. Blogger wouldn't let me though, so please excuse the tardiness. L-R: Tori, Me, Kassie, Emily. I didn't take pictures with squires and marjie though. We were just too busy shopping....honest. Tori is a friend of Kass's, and Emily is a dear friend from Paris. In this picture we were in the Marriot hotel business room looking at her wedding dress at j-crew.com. Her wedding is going to be beautiful. When did j-crew start making wedding dresses? They should have started way before this though because those dresses are beautiful.
I quit the thai restaurant job last night. It just felt like the right thing to do. I got way too stressed out before I had to go to work anyways. Sam, the boss, was just too unfair. Maybe if I couldn't speak english fluently I would have thought he was a nice boss...but he's just not. He tried to stiff me too! What nerve. This is not Thailand. He tried to tell me that he didn't have to pay me for the first few days of work because I was training...ummm...that's illeagle. In the end I got paid, about 40 bucks short of what he really owed me- I had to argue for 15 mintues for it too. I looked into reporting him to the better business bureau, but they don't do employee-employer relations. The website said that the government has a branch to deal with that kind of stuff . . . I need to look into this further. I want that thai kitchen staff to be protected. Sam is so lame. I hope revenue canada audits him. Can I report him to them? Eve- any knowledge about that?
I had something funny to say today, but I forgot. I should keep a notebook with me. If I forgot though, it must have not been that funny. Mom is here for the weekend. The fridge is full of diet safeway cola and veggie dogs because Celeste will not allow meat in the house. The dogs are suprisingly pretty good, just a little dry.

After Mom leaves I always find an stash of Little Debbies hiding behind the couch, wrappers and all. If I am really lucky there will be runaway twinkies in the spaces between couch cushions.
