It's like this- my little sister, Nunu, used to be in the Daffodil room when she went to daycare 1 day a week to give my saint of a mother a break from her wonderful but work intensive 7 children (the older ones were at school, so the 3 youngest got this privilege and I was always just a little bit envious. For it seemed like such a magical place, they had Cheez Whiz toast!). After said sister grew out of the Daffodil room, she moved up to the Sweet Pea room or to some other garden-flower-named daycare room that I can't remember. Anyways, it was a tough move on us all. Everyone was stuck on the Daffodil identity, so we had no choice but to call her "Nunu Schmoo Nuu, The Former Daffodil". In today's world, even though she is nearly all grown up (we are still waiting for a few more inches to clear) we still call her this because we just can't help ourselves, and you wouldn't be able to either, trust me. It seems that I can't help myself in a lot of departments. Oh my.
I was going to start this blog off by only saying:
Nunu Schmoo Nuu, The Former Daffodil, this is what you have to look forward too in nary 1 short week (please blossoms, still be here)!!! But shortly after that was typed, I thought what a confusing introduction that could be for a reader not of my blood. In fact, Dan just got the explanation himself. It puzzled me that all along
this thing we call marriage, he did not question it once. Not once! He must have thought that this was something that fit into the category of "One Of Those Things You Do With Your Sisters."
Without further ado, I introduce the pictures I used far too many different amature photobucket editing tools on, of the Cherry Blossoms.

The cross process option. I think my favorite. |
 |
Here I just sharpened it up a little. Dan is so handsome on his own. |
 |
And a cross process again. I can't help myself. |
 |
Old Photo option which is always a poo poo pleaser. |
So have a nice weekend everyone, and Nunu Schmooo Nuu, The Former Daffodil, I'll be seeing you on the flip flop.
Over and Out.
3 woot-woots!:
Well, I admit that I don't think I get it - but the pictures are beautiful anyway. If the blossoms are gone when your sister is here, I recommend Great Falls Park as a replacement outing. It's always beautiful there.
Cannot wait sista!
Sincerely,
Your Former Daffodil
Ah, cherry blossoms - what a lovely way to welcome a new season.*
*things I learned in Vancouver.
Have fun. Don't do anything I wouldn't do.
