My belly serves perfectly as a holder for various things, such as Diet Coke (I know, I know). I declared last night that I may not show up at church today because I had nothing to wear. But alas, I scrounged up something stretchy, squeezed my poor piggies into some shoes, and made it to church on time. I mean, I had to be there to make people in Sunday School laugh- it's the calling I personally extended to myself. Wouldn't that be great if it was a sustainable calling though? And oh- Dan received another calling.... drum roll please... Gospel Doctrine Teacher. So now you see why my personally extended calling is so important.
My Friday was really fun. I took a day trip up to visit my dear friend Kassie who is also with child. She is due 10 days after me with a garcon as well! Same same! She helped me nest by sewing receiving/swaddle blankets and by embellishing burp clothes with me. I am kind of intimidated by sewing machines so she was a great help and it was so fun. I had to spend Saturday afternoon napping all the live long day though as to recuperate from the previous days activities. I didn't mind though- I'm gonna sleep as much as I can before this bebe comes.
The blankets are just a one sided flannel blanket with the edges sewed under.. . but it took forever to iron those dang edges under. I did some patterned ones and then the two solids. I am in love!
And the burp cloths. We had lots of fun picking out ribbon and ric-rac and then deciding how to sew them on.
So that's that! I guess I had a little more to say after all. See you all on the flip flop and lets hope this baby shows up soon.

Love the blankets and burp cloths that you and your friend made! So cute! It almost makes me want to have another one :) PS Dan is a superb teacher and you are one funny side kick! Sunday school just got a little funnier!!
