Socks and Such

Photobucket
My heart about melted yesterday as I finished up doing the rest of our baby laundry. BABY SOCKS! They are perhaps the cutest thing this side of the Mississippi, if you ask me. And true to form I was left with one lone baby sock missing its mate so I left it out for Dan to see and then his heart was melted as well. He found its mate though (his special spiritual gift- I am always missing sock mates and he finds them) and all the socks now live happily ever after in their chevron striped storage bin. Now baby boy- out with your head! We are ready for you and I am especially ready to not be so puffed up.

Last night my poor puffed piggies about had it and I needed some serious relief. So I pulled a stool up to the the shower and turned it on to freezing cold and instant relief! Dan wanted to take a picture but I would not let him. It was not my finest moment- I just wanted him to 'look away!' (name that movie). So that's that.

Mostly I just wanted to share the baby socks with you all- and oh! I nearly forgot. I laughed and laughed about this last year with Betina, and it's that time again! I think it no coincidence, no coincidence at all, that The Relief Society birthday shares its special day with St. Patrick. Would it not be so funny to have a St. Patrick's Day themed RS birthday celebration? I kill myself with humor thinking of ideas. The options really are endless and one day if I ever have enough guts and am in a Relief Society Presidency I may just do it, because really, why take ourselves so seriously? And who doesn't want the luck of the Irish anyways?

2 woot-woots!:
