Milking

Hello out there to all you cutie pies.

I just wanted to take a quick minute to write something quick about how sweet our little boy is. So sweet. He will be six whole freaking months old on Tuesday. It dawned on me that I may only have six months left of breast feeding and I got sad.

I always thought feeding someone with my boobs would be the weirdest thing ever. And it was pretty weird. But then I got more used to it and I'll tell you what- I really enjoy it. Things I like about nursing include: the hormone let down, the cuddles with my baby, and the fact that I have a reason to zone out for a few minutes. I have come to the conclusion that feeding someone with my boobs is actually quite enjoyable and not weird (as long as it is a baby, I do have limits). Especially when that someone, Jude, is so adjective while eating. This kid! At around 2-3 months he would "pet" my chest with his free hand while he ate and it about melted me into a puddle of goo it was so sweet. Now he likes to wave his free arm up in the air, play with my hand, or put his hand in my mouth and up my nose. And every once in a while he'll take a brake, pull off and look right up at me and smile then back to the chomping. I die! When he does the pull-off-smile I imagine what he is really trying to do is say "my compliments to the chef!". I'll cherish these next six months while also looking forward to the day when milk won't be a part of s-e-x, if you know what I mean.

'My compliments to the chef!'

So funny. Also, it should be 'break', not 'brake'.

Love, your annoying sister.

hahaha, i love BF, too, however we are trying to give him some formula because I can't pump all day every day at work anymore, and he's like - mom, what the heck are you trying to pull with this imposter bottle? these babes love the mamas milk.

ps JUDE IS SO ADORABLE.
