Things My Baby Does Not Like

My baby does not like sweet peas. This is how he let us know:

We tried a few more bites after this picture and he would have nothing of them. Too funny.

Also, this morning I thought I would try avocado with him. Jude does not like avocado either. The super nutrient dense fruit actually made him gag and then barf. Good thing avocado and breast milk are pretty easy to clean up. Don't worry baby, for this Northern Alberta girl, it was an acquired taste as well. You'll get there. But don't gag and barf anymore, it scares me.

One thing Jude does like is whatever the heck is ground into the highchair straps. Kinda gross, I know. See, I went out to some garage sales with Rashelle in her parents nice neighborhood and I got a great deal on this high chair. The chair was in great condition and pretty clean- all it needed was some fine detailing. No problem, I can do that. But I did not get those straps clean enough and something is on them, something Jude loves and keeps sucking on. So we know he likes squash, sweet potatoes and whatever is on those straps. He loves it so much I am starting to feel guilty about my plans to somehow throw the straps in the wash. He'll be so disappointed the next time he sits down for a square meal. He's not dead yet so I'm guessing whatever it is, it isn't peanut butter. You can have that next year sweetie.

Gabe loves to chew on Jordon's man-bag that has that material too! It might not be anything tasty, it could just been the texture of it that he likes. How many teeth does he have now?

Thats often what I look like when I accidently eat a pea! Jacob too loved to chew on the straps. And still does actually!!

Avocado was Hens first food. I thought he would love it, but he threw it up. And he threw up rice cereal. And a few other things. So we shelved the solids till he was about 7 1/2 months. I hate baby puke. You are a brave Canadian warrior princess! Also, his chair looks mega comfy!
