We are in love with that there little smile. So sweet this little boy. I am savoring these days, you know, the ones where he is still super cute and mostly obedient. Basically, the days before he turns into a little you-know-what. Is it bad of me to say that? I mean, I'm not trying to socialize sweet, innocent baby Jude into something he's not, I'm just sayin'. It happens, and usually to most kids. I think he will still be a super cute little S when the time comes though and I'll love him no matter what.
As soon as Jude woke up this morning he has been crawling around, going about his business while muttering "Ba, Ba, Ba" to himself. I just wanted to let you all know about his first syllable.
Next up:
We have been having a lot of fun in the bath with this kid. He has graduated from the kitchen sink to taking his baths with either his mama or his papa in the bathtub. Dan has really enjoyed playing in the bath with him of late except for one small issue. Actually, perhaps it would be better called a "long" issue - the issue of Dan's height. When we moved in I was really excited to have a bigger bath tub in the master bath. I have learned over the last few days though that my dream of having romantic baths with candles, oils and Dan is probably not going to happen. Poor guy can barely fold up those daddy long legs of his to fit in the tub with Jude. I have some conflicting emotions about it all. Of course, I think it is hilarious that his legs fall asleep while paying with Jude in the bath tub, but then I am sad that what I thought to be our bigger bath tub will not be used for the baths I had imagined. Oh Dan, why must you be so tall? Your height is crushing my dreams.
3 woot-woots!:
Bath time is the best! And I am very relieved to read that the "long" issue had to do with height and not something inappropriate that I may have thought that I will not divulge. love your baby and your blog and you.
me too.
