Oh Sundays

We didn't show up late for church this past week. It was odd, being on time. Our meeting time changed as is customary come the new year for the Mormons and then we all talk about how the new meeting time is very difficult for our children. About this talk of naps and 9am or 1pm church I used to just smile and nod because I really didn't care what time church was at because I don't got no kids. We used to sleep in, cuddle, make breakfast, generally waste time when it was 1pm church and also did the same after 9am church. It was pretty great. Now it is different and still great, just in different ways.

So anyways, we were on time to take the sacrament even, which meant that I couldn't play my favorite church joke on Dan. Such a shame. Dan has this thing. He doesn't like to take the sacrament unless he is there for both the water and the bread prayer (which I think is weird). As for me, I'll take whatever salvation I can get and will double up on what I missed the next time, yum! Same same. So when Dan doesn't take the sacrament because he missed a prayer I like to say in a loud whisper so at least four other people can hear me "DID YOU SIN?"... "NO, DID YOU SIN?". Usually I ask at least twice because I can't help myself even in sacred situations. I don't think God minds. Life is funny, it was made that way.


I just wanted to jot that down before I forgot about it because it makes me laugh so hard. And no pictures today because the internet is being dumb and I can't upload them. I had some really cute Jude ones too. Don't worry though, I'm sure I'll post them soon enough.
