This is Jude's BFF, Jacob. They like to do things like go for navigated spins around the yard together thanks to Jacobs nifty telescope and sometimes they like to go for horsey rides... on each other. As long as we intervene in time, that second one is pretty entertaining to watch, but sadly I don't have a picture of that yet. Jacob is a two-two and Jude is a one-one so their play is somewhat limited but do they ever have conversations! Jacob is really good at making Jude laugh and then he laughs and then the mom's can't hear themselves over the conversation that's happening in the back seat. NBD, just melt your heart kind of stuff is all. These two, you should see them.
We are doing a Groupon indoor photo shoot this weekend to mark Jude's first year. Indoor photo shoot- I'm still not sure how I feel about it but as long as we don't have to wear Western gear it should probably turn out alright. We worked really hard all week to try and keep Jude from banging into things with his head. It seems to be the kid's speciality and was it ever a difficult task. Why just today he had a good bang up and oh how he howled. I felt so bad for him. Once he calmed down I gave him a good inspection and he seemed to come out of it all unscathed. Hopefully we can contain the battle wounds he has and no more will be added before 11:20 tomorrow morning. If I could wrap him in bubble wrap until tomorrow morning I would.

It's been too long
Because I only live to chase after boys and bake cookies, I thought I would update everyone on what is and what is not happening. Acutally, I spoke to a dear friend this evening and she happened to ask about the elbow tickler and it dawned on me...there have been no updates!
Mr Tickle: I guess he really just wasn't that in to me. And that's okay. His loss.
Sean Connary: This fun Scotsman has been asking me out on dates lately. He is a great guy, but I have to stop talking to him as if he were an ESL student. They speak english in Scotland too. I can talk fast and use slang...he will understand.
BYU Cougar: A friend of mine from the Y moved up here and we hang out often. He is scared silly of any member of the opposite sex so I have to be pretty blunt with him. He is a brillant, brillant person.
Catching up is always such a fun activity. Now you are all caught up on the somewhat existant "boy" situation of p-cute, and I had the opportunity to catch up with my dear friend, the kindred spirit, Iggy . She was the one who asked about Mr. Tickle. It is so nice to catch up with old friends, and even better than that is catching up with old mission friends. It is such a warming feeling to know that we have people that care about us and that we care about and can identify with all over the world. I love that blogs bring us closer together. I am in debt to Mr. Ghram Bell because of his wonderful invention of the telephone even though from that came evil spawn cell phone. I guess we'll let that one slide.
Here's to catching up... via blog, phone, or cell. I love it all.
