Univeristy to Foothills/ bye bye elbow tickles

Whoever said change was good better have been someone s.m.r.t. because my ward just got dissolved and now I have to deal with change. There are so many things I loved about the Univeristy Ward and now the ward doesn't even exist.

I loved my posse of 19 year old girls. I visit and taught them, gave them rides, and exchanged many a boy stories with them- heck, we even dated the same guys.. good times. Sure, I'm 24, but there is nothing like a good group of 19 year old girls. It was like pillow fights and giggle parties 24/7. I love those girls with all my heart and am really sad that I won't get to be in their ward anymore.

Another great thing about the University Ward is "the boys house". 8 guys all living together in a 1989 house. These boys are the most eclectic I have met yet- really cool, irresistable, and just sweet. Now how will I ever attain my goal of dating everyone of them? Joke, honest, that was a joke. Not that this was ever a goal, it just kinda started to happen on its own. We'll see were that ones goes.

And then there is the boy that touched my elbow....ahhhh...that was 3 seconds of pure bliss. Now I can't make eyes at him durning sacrament meeting as he is playing the hymns of zion. sad. Where Can I Turn for Peace will never be the same.

I did meet my new Bishop on Tuesday night because I cornered him at the Frieside Sunday and kind of demanded a calling. We met Tuesday and he seems like he'll be a great Bishop. His wife is super spunky too. She has this really chic spiky grey hair and Fendy glasses. I think I already like her. And he did have a Costco sized container of York Peppermint Patties on his desk...so I guess he'll be good as well. Infact, it's a known fact that one of the path's to Patience's heart is paved in mint and chocolate. So maybe this will turn out good. And the other path is paved with 3 second elbow tickles. Sigh...I'll be missing out on that one.

I guess I should just stop being a baby about this because the person who said that change is good was my dear mission president. And plus, both wards will share the same Sunday School hour and classes. Man, they really want to get us married. Well Foothills.... here comes "just a little Patience". . . . kicking and screaming..... the elbow tickle! the elbow tickle!

ah yes... "Change happens. Change is good. Enjoy the change." those wise words from President... i say them over and over in my mind sometimes...

hey this way you can date those guys and it won't even be considered incestual! [isn't there a no-dating-within-your-ward rule?]
