PUBLISH POST

Hello Friends. It has been a while since I sat down and published a new post. This seems odd to me because, as I have stated before, I love that after you press the publish button Blogger lets you choose to view your blog in a new window. Why yes, yes I will! And thank you! And I will do it after I finish typing these few words out. The anticipation is mounting and I can hardly handle it. Anyways...

Today at work I met a person named Jesus. I know that this is a popular Spanish name (he was from Mexico), but I did not know this until my years at BYU. You see, the Soviet Union does not accomodate Latino people very well. It is cold and harsh, and why come to Canada when you can go to California? Hello! When I first arrived in Utah I had never eaten an avocado, or cilantro, or beans, unless the beans were associated with chili or were of the baked variety. Isn't that weird? Now I crave those things (in true latino form), and try as I might, mine don't seem to come close to what I tasted way down south... way down south in Utah. Ha ha. And maybe I'm just talking about Cafe Rio, but no judging my friends. I liked other latino food too, I'm sure of it.

So anyways, when I was at the MTC sometimes I would do media referral phone calls (TRC? is that what it was called... I am forgetting here) and sometimes I would call people named Jesus. It always made me giggle, because, really, does Jesus need a Finding Faith in Christ DVD? Probably, because I bet it was a different person then the person that the DVD is about. I really like that DVD.

Okay, I am done ranting about nothing. I have to go now. . . and publish this post!

I think even the Savior might fancy a DVD "to fulfill all righteousness". Also, I love the twinkle of girlish glee in your eyes as I watch you "View Blog". But I hate the crushing defeat that comes to you when no one takes the time to leave one little comment. Shame on all who don't comment!!!!

Yum - this post makes me hungry. I'm pretty sure this baby is going to come out Latino if I keep eating so much Mexican food. I'm just sad we're stuck in Utah...nothing beats Mexican food in California. :)
