Twenty-two used to be my default "I feel like this" age. Now it is how may weeks I am pregnant. And this my friends is what it looks like.
Not so bad, but I fear that in a few more weeks it won't be so cute. There are a few things that need to be discussed so please bear with me.
First. Boobs. Seriously they are way too big. I'm just gonna say it. I was busting out of my brassieres so I had no choice but to go get measured and purchase some new ones. Without being too direct, my littlest sisters name is Celeste and I can fit into a brassiere that starts with her names first letter. What?! Who am I and where did my wonderful small chest go to? I think I prefer being smaller up top because it makes life so much easier.
Second. Our top names for this little boy, besides Don Draper (of course) are Simon and Theodore. I was saying these names over and over in my head and I thought "why do these sound so familiar?" I couldn't quite put my finger on it but then it came to me in squeaky voices singing too fast. The Chipmunks! Ha! We are not, however, into the name Alvin. But who knows, really- because after he is born maybe he will just look like an Alvin and we'll have no choice.
Third. Whilst in sacrament meeting yesterday I was busy pondering the mysteries of the universe when I saw a little baby girl with the pierced ears. And I thought to myself "maybe we could pierce our little chipmunks ear when he is an infant too?". I leaned over to Dan and told him my idea. I mean, we would probably be the first to pierce a baby boys ear, right? And I take almost every opportunity to draw an earring on Dan's earlobe (mostly while we are at church), so I thought it only fitting. I know people, I am just tooooooo funny!!
Fourth. I don't think I had a forth. But I did just spend a week in Mexico relaxing with my sister Nunu and her BF eating mass amounts of guacamole and corn tortillas. It was wonderful but I didn't really take any pictures (I was too relaxed I think).
3 woot-woots!:
Beautiful Belly! I love it! And your son would be a total
"baller" with his ears pierced. Just make sure to get some oversized diamond studs!
Amen to the small chest. Anxiously awaiting the Mom Makeover in which my boobs will fit into a cup that start with one of the first three letters of the alphabet. Down with boobs! I may throw in a tummy tuck too to match the smaller boobs. Life is all about a healthy balance, afterall. XOXO
ahh you look adorable! um, so about those boobs, just wait until you have the babe and the milks come in, oh dear heavens, there isn't words to describe.
i love both those boy names, too. funny you paired them together!
