If I could bottle up all the sweetness and love that is in our home right now I think it would be potent enough to solve all the worlds problems. These days are precious.

And then just a little something to make you all laugh. Dan and I are contemplating an outing (a big deal around here) in which some stairs will be involved. I told Dan that I'll be fine, but the hospital video (that told us how to stay alive after having a baby) told me I should keep stair climbing to a minimum for 2 weeks post-delivery. Dan was not convinced our outing would be a good idea. He took this video very seriously. As we were cuddled up on our bed planing our next adventure Dan says "you could just hang off my back". As in, not a piggy back due to the blessed perineum, but me just holding on for dear life, dangling off Dan's back as he hauls me up the stairs. Ah man, did I ever laugh and I sure hope you do too!

What if you had a friend come along. Dan could carry your top and they could take your legs.
Or. Maybe Dan could carry you up in his arms, like a groom carrying his bride over the threshold. Only this time it would be a husband carrying his post pardom wife up three grueling flights of stairs. Would he be carrying the car seat + Jude too?
