Fall

As I said, Fall in Virginia makes my heart swell. This little beauty is just in the parking lot across the street. That's right. And it was 20 C today with no snow! So sorry all my Calgary friends. I wish you could be here to enjoy it with me. I'm not used to actually having a real Fall birthday season, usually by now the season is already covered in snow, slush, and ice. 

Every few months I like to make sure that my second earring holes are not closed up. I am usually quite diligent in making sure that an earring can still be poked through, even though I only ever wear one pair at a time. I like to make sure, because you know, I want people to have a way of knowing that if they ever have issues with the Mormon faith, that they can come to me and I won't judge them, because um, I kind of have two earring holes in each ear (albeit grandfathered in, but still). I am always looking for a subtle way to let others know that I won't turn off or label them as "one of those" the minute they reveal a doubt or a question because I love to listen and learn and grow and I probably feel the same. So you can imagine how alarmed I was when I couldn't poke my earring through my #2 hole in my left ear the other day. How will they know?! And just because I like to question does not mean I am against The Gospel of Jesus Christ. It just means that I am following the example of prophets of old and even modern day ones. It's my right, and yours too. If this left earring hole closes up, you'll just have to make sure you check my right ear too, and then you'll be sure to know you have a friend in me :)!

It's Cry It Out (CIO) time here again at the residence of P-Cute. I HATE THIS. I think anyone ever involved in such an affair probably feels the same. Poor baby Jude was just getting so confused about what time of the day it was after our trip out west and its 3 hour time difference. I think we are almost there though. Perseverance! And oh my, I am actually quite proud of myself, I spelled/spelt (which is the most correct here? anynoe?) that last word correctly on the third attempt without having to Google it! If turning 30 next week is teaching me anything, it might have to do with spelling.

And also, my baby is SEVEN MONTHS OLD today! WOW! I was trying to upload pictures but Photobucket redid itself and I could only get this picture of the leaves to upload. I shall have to try again and let you all know what that little monster is up to these days. That's what this post was suppose to be in the first place!
