Nothing like a night at the Calgary Folk Festival. If you ever have the pleasure of attending this event, I suggest starting it with some Vietnamese Subs and ending it with mini donuts. Well, starting it off with City and Colour, with all your friends mixed in the middle (even including friends that wear socks and sandlas ) and ending it with Rufus Wainwright is also a great way. What a perfect evening it was.... I even found my happy place. This happened when dear Rufus was just going at it and I saw this woman bearing her heart and soul with the aid of a Hula Hoop. It was magical, so magical that it couldn't be comitted to my camera's memory ...no, that happy place stays in my memory.

is this the same as the Calgary Stampeede festival? random thing, my old roommate, Vendulka, from Czech, is touring with her band and they performed there. if it's the same thing maybe you saw her!!

I thought that to be a TRUE Canadian you had to wear socks with sandals to chruch at least twice. That is all I see when I go home to SL... and with certain extended family members. Oh, and Dad.
Dan is SOOOOO cute. He looks very kind. I like his smile wrinkles. Can I meet him when we come up?
