We are home safe and sound after a fun weekend with Betina and her fam. All in all the weekend was great and I could not have picked a better time to take time off work. I count myself lucky as I did not have to pick through old charts while not being allowed to talk, laugh, listen to music, or watch tv as per Ms. Passive-Agressive. So happy I missed that!
Instead I got to go to c-h-e-a-p american grocery stores to stock up on chocolate chips as Dan stocked up on his favorite american pop (cherry coke, A&W vanilla cream soda), see little Eden shake it at her dance recital, go to Ivy's sealing and birthday party, and catch up with Betina's cool mom friends. It was great... a v. special weekend.
The only downside was all the barf and #3 Sunday night. After expelling every ounce of liqued from my body early early Monday morning, the drive home Tuesday proved difficult. Who would have thought walking around a Target or stopping for gas took so much energy! Whew! Dan and I could hardly stand on our two feet after a few measly errands. Dan found it difficult gripping his hands to the wheel, but we made it, safe and sound. If it was me driving it would have been a different story.
And oh! One more downside: Dan is now the favorite among the nieces and nephews. They look at me, scoff and/or turn up nose, and run right into Dan's long, strong arms. No fair.
1 woot-woots!:
I think you would have done better had you offered more "free spankings"
hahaha.
So glad you came. Hope you feel better soon.
